Let’s do some fjord diving into the new Nordic diet! This episode features my interview with Registered Dietitian Sharon Palmer. We discuss this diet in-depth which has been shown in research to be a healthful eating pattern in Scandinavia. It developed, in part, out of the exciting developments in Nordic cuisine and gastronomy over the last 2 decades. The Nordic diet is characterized by a focus on local, seasonal foods, sustainability and the joy of eating. It has some surprising features which you might not expect. We also have some fun and discuss foods and recipes of this region.
